10 Overlooked Features in Logic Pro To Be Thankful For

Happy Thanksgiving! Whether you live in the U.S. or abroad, I hope you’re well.

Here in the States yesterday was a big U.S. holiday of Thanksgiving. And in the spirit of the season of giving and expressing thanks, there’s plenty to appreciate in Logic Pro.

To whittle down all the wonderful features in Logic into a simple shortlist would be tough. But it’s not too hard to overlook many of the amazing things Logic Pro can do for your music.

So today I wanted to give thanks for some of these “under-the-radar” features.

Check out today’s video for my list. Is there an overlooked Logic feature you love? Let us know in the comments below!

Thanks for the video. Speaking of bounce multiple tracks in place, I have been really hoping for a bounce to new track alternative feature. This would allow for keeping track of changes while mixing, and potentially cut down on the number of plugins needed at one time. I have already sent in the suggestion to Apple. Hoping others can help out with this!

    Dear Chris
    Good video!
How do you bring down the level of that one bass note before you stretch it?

    Shortcut??

Hi Peter, thanks so much! I didn’t actually bring down the level of the kick. Instead, I adjusting the scale of the waveform using key command Command and –. To expand the view, use Command and =.

However, developer Speakerfood has an app for assigning key commands for Region Gain adjustment for $14.99. So if you’ve been looking for a solution, this might be it!

The only risk is, of course, a future Logic Pro update might see new commands for Region Gain. It all depends how much you need this function in the meantime.
