10 Tips Every Producer Should Know When in Logic Pro

You know, in just the last year alone Logic’s toolkit for producers has skyrocketed. From Samplers to Live Loops, Step Sequencer to Logic Remote. It’s amazing how much Logic can do now!

These tools and features are amazing. But there are a lot of other ways Logic makes songwriting and producing easy and fun.

These aren’t complicated features. But they’re easy to overlook. So today I thought it would be fun to craft a riff to show off these key producer features.

Our riff will use many of Logic’s awesome songwriting tools. From Drummer to Apple Loops, Quick Sampler to Software Instruments.  We’ll explore things like:

  • How Logic can Auto-Quantize MIDI performances as soon as you finish recording
  • Easily craft & perform unique parts with MIDI FX
  • How to take advantage of the Region Inspector of transposing and reversing regions
  • How time-stretching both Audio and MIDI can be done with a single click and drag

Plus much more!

So let’s make some music in today’s video 🙂

This Drag and Drop sampler is the coolest thing for creating ear candy.
At 6:48 is where LPX just rules. Easiest sample trigger ever.
Great demonstration. I think Slow Down is another feature in Region editing.
