This past year I tried out expanding my content horizons here on WLPR.
Of course WLPR is all about Apple’s amazing DAW, Logic Pro. But at the beginning of 2021 I decided to venture out into territories more tangential to Logic Pro.
That included posts on gear, plugins, new Macs, and helpful 3rd party apps.
But with 3 weeks left to go, it’s time to circle back to what WLPR is all about…
Why Logic Pro Rules!
So I thought it would be fun to do exactly that – explore the reasons why Logic Pro rules.
These next couple posts are for the creative who’s never tried out Logic Pro before.
But maybe, just maybe, those creatives have been eyeing Logic Pro from afar. Taking note of some of the amazing features that have cropped up in the last 8 years with even minor curiosity.
Features like:
- Drummer
- Smart Tempo
- Live Loops
- the upgraded Samplers
- or the new Spatial Mixing toolkit
So as a sort of “countdown to 2022,” I have 3 top 10 posts coming for these last 3 weeks of 2021. And today’s post is for the producers and beatmakers out there who might be interested in Logic Pro.
Today’s video and post will serve as a brief hitlist of those features. But if you’d like a deeper dive on anything covered today, just check out the links below for more.
BTW – Try Out Logic Pro FREE for 90 days
Oh, and before we dig in – did you know Apple offers a 90-day free trial of Logic Pro?
Heck yeah! Just head over to Apple’s website to download the free Logic Pro trial:
https://www.apple.com/logic-pro/trial/
Unlike other DAW trials out there, everything in Logic Pro is available with the 90-day trial. Every feature, plugin, instrument and sound is there for you to check out.
(Do note that you will need an Apple computer to try out Logic Pro.)
