Getting Started w/ ATMOS in Logic Pro – The Gear (NEW 8-PART SERIES)

Heya Friend!

Welcome to WLPR’s new 8-part series on ATMOS and Spatial Mixing in Logic Pro. For the next few weeks I’ll be sharing my journey into this brave new immersive world 🔊

ATMOS and Spatial Mixing have been native to Logic Pro since version 10.7. And it’s high time for WLPR to finally dive in.

So over the next few weeks I’m going to share my experiences and what I learn to help you grow into this new world of audio.

Also – this series is sponsored by IK Multimedia! IK was kind enough to loan me the awesome iLoud MTM Immersive bundle specifically for this series.

The iLoud Immersive bundle is a bundle of 11 iLoud MTM speakers for immersive mixing, production & playback. And this bundle rocks!

If you’re interested in setting up a system for Spatial Mixing, you should definitely click here to learn more about the iLoud MTM Immersive bundle.

In today’s video we’ll quickly explore what ATMOS & Spatial Audio are, and the gear/software I’ll be using to experience ATMOS in the WLPR studio.

Really appreciate your expert advise but I’m going to have to exit these episodes. No way I have the mullah for any of this equipment.
Back in 1988 a holiphonics tape was available to me. It had several samples, the haircut, the airplane etc….
I thought then how cool it would be to create this and incorporate into my music. It’s taken this long? Wow.
    Anyway, have fun. And thanks.
