Kill the Bloat From Your Logic Projects While Making Sure They’re Safe For Archiving By Following These Steps

Sometimes our Logic Projects can take on a life of their own. That is, a bloated life that takes up tons of space on your hard drives.

And take it from someone who’s up to their elbows in hard drives and still scrambles to find space –

Bloated Projects can become rather costly if not taken care of!

The good news is that Logic’s Project Management tools like Clean Up can be a huge help in battling the bulge. Just head to File > Project Management > Clean Up to remove those lingering files.

However – I’ve found that sometimes Clean Up doesn’t clean up everything.

Forgotten Audio Files still referenced in the Project Browser can slip by undetected. As Clean Up seems to believe those files are still relevant to the Project. Even if they aren’t actually in the Tracks Area anywhere.

Tricky stuff! So if you’ve ever “Cleaned Up” your Project – but saw no change in the size of your Project – that’s why.

So today I’d love to show you how to remove the bloat for good from your Projects. Lighten the load on your hard drives with these steps.
