Welcome to day 13 of “Newbie to Ninja” here on WLPR! “Newbie to Ninja” is a beginner’s guide to Apple’s Logic Pro. Videos drop daily (Mondays-Fridays) for the next several weeks.
If you’re brand new to Logic Pro, this series will help you go from feeling like a beginner to complete comfort in Apple’s amazing DAW.
In today’s installment of Newbie to Ninja, we’ll examine how to make the most of Logic’s Count-In and Metronome functions.
The Metronome is a critical tool for staying on time with your Project’s Tempo. But besides simply turning the Metronome “on” or “off,” what else is there to really know?
Well for starters, how about being able to:
- Change the Metronome’s tone & volume
- Specify a Count-In up to 6 Bars or in different time signatures
- Route your Metronome’s Output to a headphone output on your interface
- Locate the Click track’s hidden Channel Strip in the Mixer
Today’s video outlines everything you need to know to make the most of Logic’s Metronome. Next week, let’s start recording 🙂
