Live Loops – Digging in and Composing on the Fly With 10.5’s Flagship New Feature

How’s it been since last week’s big 10.5 update? I do hope you’ve had the chance to explore some of the crazy new features.

To celebrate the unprecedented enhancements to Logic, this week is 10.5 Week on WLPR. Meaning each day this week, Monday to Friday, I’ll be posting a deep dive of each new feature.

Today’s video is all about Live Loops. A non-linear style of producing and performing on the fly.

And to be honest, this style of production is something I’m completely brand new to. I was always a rock guitar sort of guy. Songwriting for me has always been very much a linear process.

But Live Loops introduces a whole other level of spontaneous creativity to the Logic tool kit. Whether for composing, performing, or a scratchpad for ideas. And I welcome it with open arms.

Ready to learn everything you need to know about Live Loops? Check out today’s video.

Still waiting for a new graphics card that’s needed for Logic 10.5. I grabbed a Radeon RX 580 8GB which has the metal capability needed for the new Logic upgrade. Thank you for the video, although still unclear about the Live Loops. A lot of questions until getting my hands dirty with it.
