Quick Sampler – The Easiest Way to Sample Audio in Your Logic Projects

Let’s see a show of hands – who here has been waiting for an update to the EXS24 in Logic?

*Whole room raises their hands*

Phew, I’m glad I’m not the only one 🙂

The wait for the successor to the EXS24 has been a long one. But I’m thrilled that the Logic team at Apple didn’t only reskin the EXS, but gave us two new samplers.

In day 3 of our 10.5 walkthrough week, we’re gonna deep dive into the brand new Quick Sampler. Hands down one of the best additions to Logic!

The Quick Sampler is the more focused and streamlined little brother to the new Sampler. Quick Sampler’s strengths lies in the fact that it focuses on one sample at a time.

And this isn’t your parent’s Sampler. It’s fully drag-and-droppable. And allows for Sample editing in an easy graphical interface.

Just grab the start, end and loop markers. Tweak the synth section to your heart’s delight. And easily turn that cat meowing into a glitched out roar of a mountain lion.

Today, check out what makes the Quick Sampler so awesome.
