Yesterday we took a deep dive into the brand new Quick Sampler. An easy, drag and drop instrument for working with one sample at a time.
In our second-to-last day of our 10.5 week here at WLPR, we’re going to examine Quick Sampler’s big brother – the Sampler.
Sampler is the refreshed and rebranded version of the esteemed EXS24. A deep, yet streamlined Sampler for a modern era.
While the EXS24 has been good to us Logic users, it was starting to look a little – well – dated. In a world of:
- Touch screens
- Drag and drop, and
- Graphical interfaces
It felt like it was high time for the EXS24 to see a refresh. And I have to say, the new Sampler doesn’t disappoint.
In today’s video, we’ll:
- Take a general look at the new interface
- Briefly explore how the Modulation and Mod Matrix sections work
- Examine all the ways you can drag and drop samples into the Sampler, and
- Learn how to map the Samples across your keyboard, scale velocity and pitch ranges
Ready for the new world of Sampler? Check out today’s video!
Thanks Chris very interesting, thanks for taking the time to check it out for all us that preference to be shown what it’s capable off 🤓
