Hey, guess what?
This month, on October 22nd, 2022, Why Logic Pro Rules turns 5 years old.
Can you believe that?!
That’s 5 years of emails, videos, and posts all about why Logic Pro rules. 5 years of sharing how to get the most out of the best DAW around.
To celebrate, I wanted to have some fun this month. So this week I’d like to invite you over for a tour of my studio 🙂
Let me give you a full tour of the studio and gear I own and use in my humble abode. Including:
- Microphones
- Instruments
- Acoustic treatment
- Controllers
- Desk & furniture
- Mac & peripherals
- Interfaces
- Monitoring
The gear I’m using has been many years of trading up (and sometimes down) for a small selection of gear I love to own and use.
So come on over and hang out for a bit. Check out today’s video above for the full tour!
P.S. Stay tuned – there’s more fun stuff to come this month 😉

Congratulations Amigo, and thank you for changing my life and making me a better producer. Gracias!
Thank you for the kind words, Rigoberto! Happy to help any way I can 🙂
Hi Chris,
Your tutorials have been exceptionally helpful, I’m a big fan.
I also have much of the same equipment that you have. The differences are my RME interface (UFX+), which is exceptional, my monitors, and some pics..
My room is treated with O/C 703 also, which I learned about from reading about studio design before I built my studio into my former guitar shop. I’ve been a guitar maker/tech for over 50 years prior to losing much of my eyesight due to macular degeneration, so I built the studio into a large part of the guitar shop. The studio is over 3,500 sq.ft., which is a good size for music. It handles low end very well.
I mostly record singer/songwriters and small ensembles, rarely with drums, but I have a small Gretsch kit available. I also have a Yamaha Digital Grand piano and a large selection of various amplifiers and guitars and basses that I made over the years.
In many ways, my studio resembles yours, but is larger.
Your monitor system seems to be superior and I’ll check into that for myself.
Thank you again for your thoughtful, well crafted instructional videos. You;re a hero!!
It‘s almost impossible to come to your studio as I live in Austria, but it‘s huge what you present in this e-mail! All your gear, free templates and everything! What I‘d need is an expert live in my studio who shows me everything from the beginning in an example that is being developed from scratch, showing recording and mixing. I‘ve learned a lot from Youtube videos, courses etc., but that’s not as helpful as a live help and teaching.
Hi Chris
Happy Birthday & Gratulation ‘s on 5 years with WLPR
I appreciate all the work and information you provide with your videos and a great sense of community with like-minded musicians and produces.
Many Thanks

Thanks mate for always providing top tips, stories and answers to questions I was just about to ask and you beat me. Appreciate the time and effort you put into this – Leigh from Australia
