New to Logic Pro? Top Picks For Budget-Friendly, Plug & Play Audio Interfaces

*Heads up: there are some affiliate links in today’s post and video. It’s totally up to you if you’d like to use them to support WLPR. Regardless if you click the links, I stand by my top picks. Thanks!*

When you’re first getting into the awesome world of Mac-based music production, there’s a lot to consider. Your biggest question might be what gear should you actually buy?

There are tons of options out there for audio gear. How do you sort out what’s actually useful, and what’s “nice to have”? And how do you ensure your investment today will be just as useful a year or two from now?

These questions are very important to me. Every interface seems to come with its own “compatible” DAW software. And every controller out there seems to be made only for Ableton Live.

But it’s not super clear what gear is actually best for Logic Pro users. And in my opinion, this is a massive audio crime.

So I’ve spent the last few months researching gear for Logic users. The best gear at prices that won’t break the bank.

And today I’d like to share with you my top 2 audio interface picks.

These audio interfaces are perfect for 2 reasons:

  1. They’re easy, plug & play interfaces. You can literally plug them into your Mac and immediately start creating with no fuss.
  2. They’re budget-friendly. These interfaces aren’t super expensive. But that doesn’t mean they lack in features.

One’s a classic. While the other is a relatively new option:

  • Focusrite Scarlett Series (gen 3)
  • MOTU M Series

Check out today’s video if you’ve been struggling to find your perfect interface.
