Welcome to day 7 of “Newbie to Ninja” here on WLPR! “Newbie to Ninja” is a beginner’s guide to Apple’s Logic Pro. Videos drop daily (Mondays-Fridays) for the next several weeks.
If you’re brand new to Logic Pro, this series will help you go from feeling like a beginner to complete comfort in Apple’s amazing DAW.
Navigating around your Projects all starts with Transport Control. You know…
- Play
- Rewind
- Fast Forward
- Stop
- Record
The buttons at the top of Logic’s main window that you probably don’t need me to explain to you 😛
Nonetheless, today’s “Newbie to Ninja” video walks through these critical controls for recording, navigating, and listening back to your Projects. Because although “Play” and “Stop” are most likely familiar, Logic has some other options you may not know.
Then after we take the grand tour, I say forget all about the Transport buttons!
Instead, let me give you a set of 10 key commands that will make your Logic Pro life waaaay easier. I promise if you commit to these 10 key commands, you’ll spend less time mousing around, and more time creating.
