Ready to Write Your Next Riff in Logic Pro X? WLPR Walks You Through 15 Minutes to a Solid Riff

You know, every week I email you about some specific element of Logic Pro X.

We deep dive into that specific element, and I try my best to help you get more out of it.

We’ve talked about everything from Drummer to the Fade Tool, Importing and Exporting to Clipping.

Well, this week I decided to try something different. Less talk, more rock. So let’s write a riff in 15 minutes.

Not only that, but I dive into a genre of music I don’t know much about at all. Electronic music.

Ready to watch me succeed? Ready to watch me fail?

Either way, I fly by the seat of my pants and write a riff. And hopefully, you get to walk away with some great ideas for your own Projects 🙂

When I first saw the title of this video, I wasn’t sure it would be of interest but I looked at it when I had a few minutes. I’m glad I did! Learnt loads. I’ll probably refer back from time to time, because there are some really useful tricks that I had no idea about and may want to use.

Really enjoyed that! There’s nothing better than getting into the creative flow with no predetermined outcome. Learned some key board shortcut tricks along the way too 🙂

    Do more!

You were going through the process quickly, going in and out of windows that I’m not familiar with, so my ADHD brain was having a really hard time keeping up. There were windows you were going into and things you were doing, that I would need to see slowed down and explained. Like how you broke out the drummer track into individual lines. The window involving guitar pedals and adjusting the sound. Stuff like that. I was overwhelmed. I appreciate what you do though. I enjoy the articles on different topics concerning song writing and recording.

Hey Gary, thanks for the feedback! I thought it would be fun to try a “non-explaining” video. But I’ll keep your comments in mind for future videos 👍
